Aristede Hill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Springfield College and joined The Governors Prevention Partnership in September 2016. First as Program Director to oversee The Partnership’s EdCorpsCT /AmeriCorps members which mentored and supported 90 chronically tardy, absent, and behaviorally referred third-eighth grade students at the Simpson-Waverly and Wish Schools in Hartford, CT in improving their school attendance and engagement. Currently Aristede is the Mentoring Program Manager which serves as the point of contact for all mentoring related school and community-based program training, consultation, and technical assistance request. Key focus areas include expertise and Knowledge of best practices and trends affecting youth and maintaining working relationships with MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership staff to translate and disseminate national resources and materials throughout Connecticut. Aristede also convenes the Regional Mentoring Collaboratives and offers training opportunities to Mentoring programs in Connecticut.
